Impressions and Expressions at the ' Royal Ashton Park, Near Bristol, including
A. G. STREET ( in the cattle lines)
A. W. LING (at the working dairy)
A difference of opinion on machinery in motion and MABEL CONSTANDUROS in or near the Show Ring
This is the last day but one of the Royal Show which has held the stage at Bristol since Tuesday and closes tomorrow night. It is a great event in the West Country and of importance to live-stock breeders and dairy farmers throughout Great Britain.
On Thursday Western listeners heard a good deal about the show from various people who had visited it; tonight it is to have a larger audience, and they are to be taken to the Show Ground itself.
A. W. Ling , who broadcasts regularly to ' Western Farmers in particular ', is to speak from the working dairy ; A. G. Street , who farms in Wiltshire and is famous throughout the land for his novels ' Farmer's Glorv' and ' Strawberry Roan ', will speak from the cattle lines ; and Mabel Constanduras , Mrs. Buggins, with her sense of humour and sense of character, will sketch the lighter side of the Show as seen in or near the Show Ring.
There should be laughter as well as much to learn tonight.
