Every December in Scandinavia a great celebration of human intellectual achievement takes place. To this unique occasion, in the past have come scientists and writers: Albert Einstein , Rudyard Kipling , Alexander Fleming , Marie Curie , and Albert Schweitzer.
This year 11 more names are added to the list of the scientific and intellectual elite who have won the world's most distinguished award, the Nobel Prize.
