David Attenborough presents this programme to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Natural History Museum at South Kensington, home of 50 million specimens of plants, fossils and minerals.
He talks about both the familiar aspects of the museum, such as the dinosaur skeletons, and the lesser known but equally important 'behind the scenes' activities of identification and classification.
