Vivian White describes this unique state occasion which marks the anniversary of the 1688 Revolution and Bill of Rights. Three hundred years ago, William and Mary were invited, to become joint sovereigns in place of James LI. HM The Queen is accompanied by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh and other members of the Royal Family. Also present are HRH Crown Prince
