Forty years after England last tasted victory in the World Cup, and as a warm-up to this summer's competition, Ray Winstone narrates a dramatised documentary profileof the team's greatest ever captain. The story of the man who led England to victory in 1966 is of an East End lad born into the Blitz in 1941, who overcame his flaws as a footballer and fought a very private battle with life-threatening illness only 18 months before that famous win against West Germany. Includes interviews with England team-mates George Cohen , Jack Charlton and Martin Peters , wife Tina Moore and friends Jimmy Tarbuck and Harry Redknapp. Starring Joseph Kennedy and Ty Glaser.
