If I Had My Way

on BBC One London

The feature film starring Bing Crosby. Gloria Jean
When young Patricia Johnsons father is killed in an accident ' Buzz' Blackwell and two friends adopt her. They leave San Francisco for New York in the hope of depositing Patricia with some rich relatives. Unfortunately the uncle and aunt have no such plans ... Crosby is in fine form as the singing bridge-builder, in a film where the accent is as much on comedy as on music.
