In 1995 the manuscript of Elgar's Severn Suite was put up for sale.
It is different from the much-played published version in a number of ways, not least the key. The
Williams Fairey Band, music director James Gourlay , bring the series to a close with a performance of the Severn Suite following Eigar's original manuscript.
