Congo: Footprints in the Forest

on BBC Two England

Concluding the trilogy of documentaries about the rich and varied natural history surrounding Africa's River Congo.

The Congo is home to all three of the closest living relatives of humans - chimps, bonobos and gorillas. Could humans have originally come from these forests? Scientists are now finding evidence of past civilisations proving that people were a significant part of the region's history.
