Athletics
Live coverage of the seventh day of sporting action as the track and field athletics get underway. Britain's Linford Christie continues the defence of his 100m title in the second round, starting at 11.35pm. World triple jump champion Jonathan Edwards launches his bid for an Olympic title in the qualifying competition starting at 11.10pm. World Championship bronze medallist Kelly Holmes and the re-instated Diane Modahl are in action in the first round of the women's 800m, while 1984 Olympic champion Tessa Sanderson begins her quest for a second gold medal in the javelin qualifying competition at 10.30pm.
Britain's talented trio of 400m runners, Roger Black, Du'aine Ladejo and Iwan Thomas, start out in the first round at midnight.

Action from the last evening of finals, including the men's 200m backstroke at 12.45am, the men's 1,500m at 1.34am, the women's 50m freestyle and the men's 4x 100m medley relay.
