Scotland v Bangladesh; West Indies v New Zealand
Continued coverage from today's two Group B matches. Scotland's best chance of recording a World Cup victory should come on home soil as they face the other non-Test-playing nation in their group. Bangladesh, however, finished ahead of today's opponents to win the ICC Trophy and so qualify for this tournament, but Scots such as captain George Salmond and Yorkshire all-rounder Gavin Hamilton will be eager to impress their local supporters.
In the day's other game, Brian Lara will expect his West Indians to be too strong for New Zealand, but the West Indies are no longer the near-unstoppable force that swept aside the opposition to win the first two World Cups in such convincing fashion during the seventies.
Introduced by Jonathan Agnew and Dougie Donnelly. Commentary from Richie Benaud, Viv Richards, Colin Croft, Barry Richards, Jeremy Coney, Mike Denness, Simon Hughes and Alan Wilkins.
