A series of nine programmes 7: Rhythm of Life
The Great Barrier Reef is one of the wonders of the natural world. Running for 2,000 miles off Queensland, it harbours a greater variety of marine life than any other coastal environment.
Fish and marine slugs of dazzling colour vie with each other in the coral gardens, and deploy an amazing variety of defensive and offensive tactics in their quest for survival. Veteran Australian wildlife cameraman Ben Cropp has recorded the reefs life over a 24-hour period.
