Jackanory: The Latchkey Children: Part 1: 'A fight for the tree'

on BBC One London

by Eric Allen
with Keith Barron
'I'll see you at the tree' was what they always said-Billandben, Goggles, Froggy, and Etty, for the tree on the St. Justin's Estate in Battersea was their own special meeting place. But one day they discovered the tree was to be cut down. This is the story of the Latchkey Children's efforts to save their tree.
