Cricket: Sixth Test
England v Australia
The Oval provides a historic venue for Grandstand's last Test cricket of the summer. With the Ashes already lost, England will be hoping that this game provides an end-of-season boost as they now set their sights on the winter tour of the West Indies. This match almost certainly sees the last appearance in a Test in England of Australian captain Allan Border, the world's most prolific scorer of Test match runs.
Golf
Coverage of the final round of Murphy's English Open from the Forest of Arden Golf and Country Club, after close of play at the cricket. The tournament provides the European players with another chance to secure a place in the Ryder Cup team to be played at the Belfry next month.
