Jeremy Clarkson's Motorworld

on BBC Two England

A look at the automotive cultures in six countries around the world.
Detroit. First it was called Detroit and then, when most American cars were made there, it became known as the "Motor City". To lovers of music and cars the world over, it will always be known as "Motown". Then the effects of the 1967 riots and Japan's successful inroad into the US car market left the centre of this once great city a virtual ghost town. But Clarkson finds that the manufacturers are fighting back and that a pulse still beats in the heart of Detroit.
