The Life Laundry

on BBC Two England

Series in which home consultant Dawna Walter and clearance specialist Mark Franks help people to streamline their lives. Ann McSweeney lives in Docklands, east London, with her five-year-old son Oliver. Despite its size, McSweeney is finding it hard to cope with the lack of space in her three-bedroom home. Clutter has built up to the point where it is taking over and her bedroom is so bad that she has resorted to sleeping on the sofa. With the contents of the three worst rooms spread on the lawn, tough decisions have to betaken as to what fate will befall discarded items: car-boot sale, charity donation, or crusher.
