Antony Hopkins, who is well known as a composer of music for radio plays and whose recent series of broadcast talks on musical taste aroused widespread interest, has devoted much of his time to choral conducting and composing. His Carillon, written six years ago, is a successful 'experiment in obtaining bell-like sonorities from unaccompanied voices.
