Soko Risina Musoro by H. W. CHITEPO
Translated from the Shona and introduced by HAZEL CARTER Adapted for broadcasting and produced by TERENCE TILLER
Shona is an African language of the Bantu group. This epic-dramatic poem, recently composed, is the first of its kind in that language. Ostensibly, it contrasts with a former time of prosperity, a village's later experience of drought and famine, which results in the meeting of a general council at the court of the King. But deeper meanings may also be apparent. with Diana Olsson , Chrisopher Carlos Frank Duncan , Deryck Guyler
