After becoming involved in the Battle of Borodino, Pierre received a letter from Helene telling him she planned to divorce him. The Rostovs joined the evacuation of Moscow - leaving their goods behind and taking wounded soldiers instead. Unknown to Natasha, one of these soldiers was Andrei.
