The women's figure skating competition commences tonight with the technical programme, and former double Olympic champion Katarina Witt , having returned to the amateur fold, is among the challengers, though she was not impressive at the European championships.
The teenage world champion from the Ukraine, Oksana
Baiul, world runner-up Surya Bonaly (reigning European champion) and world bronze medallist Lu Chen are the leading contenders.
Commentary is by Alan Weeks and Barry Davies.
The ice hockey tournament reaches the quarter-final stage and Gerald Sinstadt and Stuart Storey are the commentators. Plus 12th-day highlights, introduced by Steve Rider and Sue Barker.
