The second of a two-part programme on contemporary Cuban music. Cuba's foremost jazz band, Irakere, is featured tonight. Filmed in concert at last year's Jazz Festival in Havana, the band demonstrate their stunning combination of Cuban dance rhythms, African percussion and US jazz.
Also featured is a guest appearance by Arturo Sandoval , the renowned trumpeter who played with Irakere before forming his own band.
