'Modern methods for the grower' by Geoffrey Tawell
Geoffrey Tawell , who gave a talk in this series in April, will tell small-holders and market growers how useful scientific results can be to practical farming. There are thousands of holdings and small farms which after nearly two years of war are still producing less than half what they might, largely because the occupiers do not realise the boon of modem equipment, knowledge, and advice. Speaking from his own experience, Mr. Tawell wants to tell these people, and also those who are new to the game, what it is possible to achieve.
