A season of the 1930s' and 40s' vintage begins with some sparkling music by Cole Porter orchestrating the back-stage story of a dance team struggling for success. With the flashing feet of Fred Astaire and Eleanor Powell beginning the beguine, a happy ending seems a safe bet.
