Philip Jones Finale
After 35 years of leading his own ensemble, Philip Jones gives his penultimate public concert, recorded at this year's Bath Festival. With the Philip Jones Brass Ensemble, he has created a whole new chamber repertoire for brass instruments, ranging from the Renaissance to the present day.
In this concert he plays Bach Brandenburg Concerto No 3 in G
Suite Francaise by Debussy, and extracts from a work written specially for the group by Andre Previn , Triolet for Brass.
