'IN YOUR GARDEN'

on BBC Home Service Basic

View in Radio Times

C. H. Middleton
The best-known gardener in this country is today to give his second talk on your garden in wartime, for a talk on gardening just now could hardly be a talk on anything else. Now is the time, without altogether sacrificing your flowers, to plan to transform part of your garden into land that may produce food for your family against a time when green-stuff and roots may be difficult to purchase. Because Middleton has a knack of telling listeners just what to do without theory or nonsense, his talks are listened to perhaps more widely than anybody else's.
