Box Me a Bongo

on BBC Two England

Alan and Joan Root are best known for their film portraits of African wildlife, but their home at Lake Naivasha has also been the base for a two-year-old animal venture of another kind. High in the mountain forests of Kenya live shy and beautiful antelopes known as bongos. Filming these rare animals led to a major operation to establish breeding groups.
