4/9. The Doctor Who Makes People Walk Again? The controversial work of the doctor who claims he can make people walk again is put under the microscope. Using a technique that would be banned in the West. Dr Huang Hongyun injects cells from aborted foetuses into the brains and spines of patients with spinal injuries and disease. His treatment is based on research pioneered in the UK but scientists and neurosurgeons point to a gap in his provision of evidence or data. Could his patients be at risk?
