One unfortunate side effect of the continuing success of Manchester United is that organised gangs, aware of the huge money-making opportunity, are smuggling fake copies of the players' strips into Britain. Thousands of United fans spend millions of pounds every year on merchandise, but, as this programme reports, many are unwittingly being duped into purchasing counterfeit items.
