An 80th Birthday Tribute to Dan Maskell
Known the world over as the 'Voice of Wimbledon',
Dan Maskell 's career in tennis has seen the transition of a truly amateur game into a multi-million pound business.
With the help of friends and colleagues like Fred Perry , Jack Kramer , Bud Collins and HRH The Duke of Kent, Dan recalls his life in tennis as ballboy, player and coach to the all-conquering British Davis Cup team in the 1930s, his experiences as a rehabilitation officer in the war and a career in television which began in the early 50s.
