A recording of Placido Domingo in concert in a special gala performance at Covent Garden concludes tonight's programmes dedicated to the tenor. The gala marked the 25 years since Placido Domingo made his debut at the Royal Opera House and also the 50th anniversary of the Covent Garden Opera Company. The programme includes works by Verdi, Gounod, Massenel and Charpentier, performed by the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House and conducted by Edward Downes.
