A drama series in six parts with 4: 1776. Despite the exhilarating and inspiring declaration of independence made by the 13 states, the British have the disorganised American army on the run.
Only a desperate measure can revive it, so Washington decides to cross the Delaware River on Christmas night and surprise the enemy in Trenton.
