In the first film in this Jeanette MacDonald double-bill, the enormously popular musical star of the 30s plays an American student of music who, on arriving in Brussels, finds herself reluctantly sharing a taxi with a penniless but charming young composer.

This lively musical comedy is distinguished by its delightful Jerome Kern score and stunning finale shot in Technicolor.
