After serving in the army of Pancho Villa , Pedro J Gonzalez leaves Mexico for the U S seeking fame and fortune. His rise to the top as a radio star is threatened by his outspoken criticism of the treatment of migrants. Worse is to follow when he's imprisoned on trumped-up charges.
