When Daphne Snowdrop Riley is promoted from chief washer-up to manager of a luxury hotel the results are as hectic as they are predictable. It's good-natured fun all the way to the custard-pie finale and Arthur Lucan is in fine form as the irrepressible Old Mother Riley-a character he played for some 30 years.
