This American composer and pianist recently completed a Contemporary Music Network tour with her Anglo-American big band and members of the string ensemble Opus 20. Alan Plater introduces a recording of a concert they gave last May in Symphony Hall, Birmingham, which began with small-scale chamber works including a new commission - Wolfgang Tango.
