The Planets - Brief Encounters: Voyager

First in a eight-part series charting short breaks to spectacular destinations in our solar system.

Launched in 1977 to chart Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune, the Voyager spacecraft have captured images in extraordinary detail of strange moons, like Triton, where geysers of nitrogen explode 80 miles high.
