After losing all her money in Monte Carlo, Eve Peabody arrives in Paris with just the clothes she stands up in. A young sympathetic taxi driver falls in love with her, but Eve is a gold-digger and in no time has bluffed her way into Paris society.
Claudette Colbert and Don Ameche co-star in this sparkling comedy by Charles Brackett and Billy Wilder which includes one of the last appearances by John Barrymore.
