8.00 Tate Modem The stories behind the art at the new gallery. !
The Enemy Within. The Tate Modem is home to some of the 20th century's most provocative art, including Carl Andre 's notorious Equivalent VIII, the pile of bricks that caused a storm when purchased by the Tate in 1972, and a replica of Marcel Duchamp 's infamous 1917 urinal exhibit Fountain.
The latest generation of young British artists to shock and challenge the establishment with their work includes Jake Chapman , who in this film unravels Duchamp's legacy within the Tate's collection and explores the different ways museums treat subversive works of art.
