Led by Laurance Turner
Conducted by Joseph Lewis
At the age of twelve Guy Jones played the horn in his fathers orchestra at Leeds, and not long afterwards he won a scholarship at the Royal College of Music. He has conducted musical comedies and composed music for pantomimes and films-this overture is taken from his music to Mutiny of the Elsinore, a film based on Jack London s story.
