Legend says the priceless mask of Moloch is buried in the lost tomb of Marcus Manilius in Algiers. An eminent archaeologist, Dr Burnet, sets out to investigate. Among his party is Nicholas Chapman , an American journalist intrigued by stories of a curse. However, they are not the only ones interested in the contents of the tomb.
