A A moving film that reflects on the Nazis' use of music as a psychological tool in Auschwitz. For the first time since its liberation 60 years ago, permission has been granted for music to be heard again at the camp.
While survivors of the orchestras set up by the SS recount their experiences, pieces by Bach, Chopin and others are performed by musicians including violinist Maxim Vengerov and pianist Emanuel Ax.
