A Standard is awarded by the reigning Sovereign to Operational Squadrons of the Royal Air Force and Royal Auxiliary Air Force which have completed twenty-five years' service. No. 603 (City of Edinburgh) was one of the first Auxiliary Squadrons to receive this award.
