A contemporary love story set in the heart of Europe, this BBC film reunites writer/director Ian Sellar and producer Christopher Young.
A young Scot, Alexander Novak, goes to Prague in search of a missing piece of newsreel film, which features footage of his family - a link with the vanished past. The city's magic casts its spell on Alexander and from the moment of his arrival nothing goes according to plan. At the film archive, he meets the sensual and unpredictable Elena and an affair begins.
