Sonia introduces herself to Johnny in a North London cafe and persuades him to give her a lift to Chester. After stopping at a roadside cafe for a snack Johnny returns to his lorry to find Sonia gone. Proceeding alone he soon finds that his vehicle is completely out of control, and be only just manages to ditch it at the toot of a steep one-in-aix hill. Emerging from file cabin he looks back to see a girl lying in the road. As he lifts her up another lorry speeds by. Johnny is left with the dead body of Sonia in his arms.
