For the past week, sixteen of the world's top professional players have been competing for prize money totalling £20,000.
The players include: Rod Laver, Roy Emerson, Ken Rosewall, Andres Gimeno, Pancho Gonzalez, Roger Taylor, Tony Roche, Pierre Barthes, John Newcombe, Nicki Pilic, Cliff Drysdale, Earl Buchholz, Dennis Ralston, Fred Stolle, Ray Moore, Marty Riessen
Tonight, live from Wembley, two of these players will meet in the championship final, and the winner will receive £5,000, the highest prize ever offered for Professional Tennis in this country.
