Rugby Special: England v South Africa

on BBC Two England

Introduced by Cliff Morgan
When England last faced a touring side-the Sixth All-Blacks in November 1967 - they were swamped 23-11 by a brand of Rugby which, whilst it became the trademark of the New Zealanders, also revolutionised the training and selection of England's International squad.
This afternoon at Twickenham these new methods were put to their first major test against a South African XV who have recently discovered their true International form.
