With world champion Jerome Young and silver medallist Tyree Washington out of the Olympics, the men's 400m field looks wide open. Daniel Caines , Tim Benjamin and Malachi Davis lead the British charge at 7.20, all hoping to emulate Roger Black 's medal-winning 1996 showing.
There's also action from today's final heptathlon event, the 200m, plus, at 7.30, the women's discus qualifying. Steve Cram , Stuart Storey , Paul Dickenson , Brendan Foster and Sally Gunnell commentate.
Plus, Suzi Perry and Richard Simmons report on the sailing action and look forward to tomorrow when the first medals will be decided.
