Hollywood Ladies: Marilyn Monroe in Let's Make Love

on BBC Two England

with Yves Montand
Marilyn Monroe stars as the devastating Amanda in this romantic comedy made just a year before her last film, The Misfits.
Mistakenly hired to impersonate himself in an off-Broadway satirical revue, a billionaire is persuaded by the obvious talents of the leading lady to join the cast incognito. With BING CROSBY , GENE KELLY and MILTON BERLE as his tutors, he can pass as a performer, but winning the heart of alluring Amanda is another matter.
