Since 1992, the armed forces have shed more than 11,000 jobs in the south east, a reduction of almost 20 percent. For many ex-servicemen, life on civvie street is proving their toughest campaign yet, fightingthe new enemies of homelessness, unemployment and the temptations of crime. With more cuts on the way, First Sight asks whether enough is being done to help them.
