Life ...in the animal world

Is the Blue Whale, up to 100 feet long, weighing 130 tons. With this enormous size, how is its body constructed and operated? Almost every part of a whale has a use for man. and for 1.000 years he has harvested this valuable natural resource of the sea. How sensible has he been about it?
These questions are discussed by Professor Sir Alister Hardy, F.R.S., University of Oxford; Dr. K.M. Backhouse, Charing Cross Hospital Medical School; Arthur Bourne, Marine biologist; Observer on the International Whaling Commission; Bill Hough, Electronics engineer, British Sub-Aqua Club
Programme introduced by Dr. Desmond Morris, Zoological Society of London.
