It's 2 June 1953, and the streets of London are lined with thousands of people all gathered to witness the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. Forty-fouryears later, on 31 August 1997, the mood could hardly be more different as the death of Diana, Princess of Wales, sparks an unprecedented outpouring of grief around Britain and the world.
